About Us

The National Capital Mikvah opened in 2005 after years of preparation, built under the supervision of R’ Gershon Grossbaum. Our primary purpose is to serve the taharat hamishpacha needs of married women. We have men’s hours before the yamim noraim and festivals, and we also serve brides and grooms before their wedding day.

Convenient Location

Located in Georgetown, the National Capital Mikvah is the only mikvah in downtown Washington, D.C. and perfect for both residents and visitors.

Volunteer Run

We are an all-volunteer organization, and operate on an appointment-only basis. Please contact us at least 48 hours by sending an email to appointments@dcmikvah.org.

Visiting our Mikvah

Our mikvah features two preparation rooms with baths, robes, towels, and anything else you might need. Make an appointment now.
